Raise your mug to the roses!

Each freshly ground coffee bean is evenly steamed and brewed into a caraffe. The compostable filter and the left over grounds are going straight into the composter. Coffee acts as a plant fertilizer, and that compostable paper filter is soaked in it. As it breaks down, it will continue to release nutrients, not to mention the organic material, such as plant fiber,that benefits the soil.

In a pinch, I can just dump the used coffee filter into a potted plant outside before a heavy watering. That coffee will give a nutrient boost to most plants. I compost my yard and kitchen waste. I obsess over water conservation and natural agrictultural practice. I've always known the deserts of the Southwest US. Now I'm closer to the coast and the weather is a bit cooler. The roses appear to be happy, here.

Environmental Science and Green Space

I just finished my Associates Degree in Business Management, online, with a focus on Environmental Science. As much as I do enjoy creating content on a screen, I would much rather spend my time outside. I'm fascinated by plant science and hydrology as well as, the weather, beneficial insects, sustainablity, organics, and more. I've only completed Community College but, I'm very passionate about this subject and, it is likely to feature in my future work. Thanks to you, it may happen more often.

Travel

I don't explore the world as much as I would like to but, when I do get out, I will notice the plants. Especially when I am far from home and run into an exotic species, I can't help but to capture the moment.

I have some photos from Chicago, Miami, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, and more. I managed to find a loved garden, everywhere I went. I will share those photos and experiences on Beau's Roses 🌹 on Ko-fi in full length blogs, with multiple photos, for premium subscribers, and plenty of single shots and short stories for other tiers. Even when you follow for free, I'll make sure you feel like it was worth your effort.
