Hello, again.
Can you believe we've been doing this for so many years? I'm quite proud of what we've accomplished. Sure, we've got a long way to go before it's something to truly show off but, I am humbly satisfied with what it is, right now. As you can see, I've made a lot of changes to this space, mostly addition by subtraction. I was trying new things but, it would appear that simplicity has returned as the dominant force. Sometimes, I can bite off more than I can chew when it comes to creative projects. Not that I regret anything we've tried. It's always a pleasure to explore but, this feels like the right direction so, let's go this way.
I'm still somewhat active on Twitter @SincerelyBeau. I've gotten weird vibes from Reddit and BlueSky so, not as much there. I have also been convinced to give Substack another try. I am hopeful. At least, I have begun to write offline much more as a result of some interaction with that community. Writing offline has always been a priority for me. Even now, typing this into an internet connected web browser, there's always a chance that prying eyes are on us. It's a bit relaxing to disconnect the connections and type into a machine that isn't actively spying on your every move.
It's funny how crazy paranoid that sounds and yet, that is the exact reality we live in, isn't it? Smartphones and social media algorithms, and data collection grey areas, and now AI generative content exploiting all of creativity. It's all sort of off putting but, all the more reason for us to continue creating, for humanity's sake, no?
I shared an insight on Substack about trying to write something lusty but, in setting up the scene, I just end up building up the love. Trust me, it's hot but, I can't help but indulge in the beautiful ways we've connected that made the sex all the more exhilirating in the first place. What I set out to make a short story, has turned into two chapters before we've even gotten to the hot part, yet.
No complaints, though.
Anyway, I'm just here, continuosly working on this passion project. I hope you can feel it now, and that you do when I release something into. the universe, that you feel how much a part of it you really are.
Sincerely,
Beau Holliday
